My Portfolio
Mind’s Eye is a unique data visualisation - created as part of a collaborative project which explores both the public’s and my relationship with colour in an unconventional way, speaking through the lens of synesthesia - a lesser known condition which allows those with it to experience multiple senses at once, whilst only being stimulated by one.
Created in Blender, Mind’s Eye was intended to question just how subjective colour can be. I used surveys to ask people how they experienced or interepreted things with seemingly no colour, like the calendar, the number 7 and a snippet from a song. The results are displayed using my interpretation of how the calendar looks in my mind’s eye and a drawing based on the rhythm from that same song.
